Carla has been member and officer of huge variety of canine clubs in Nevada and California.
Over the years of service to canines, Carla has also been a successful breeder and mentor to others in a variety of fields. Offering puppy classes and beginning dog training to the little ones, has been very rewarding for her and of benefit to the dog and owner. Adult dog training classes are the ultimate in dog ownership development.
Popeney’s own dogs are adorned with a variety of accomplished titles demonstrating her ability and love of training. Starting as a young girl with the family pet Popeney has been shaping behaviors. Using operant conditioning style of training she has achieved awards and titles in obedience, tracking, earth dog, rabbit field trails, retriever trails, herding, rally obedience, and agility.
Having taught community classes in South Lake Tahoe for over 14 years, Popeney brings kind and informative ways to teach people and dogs how to achieve the best. Problem behavior solving and correcting issues of ownership in our civilized society are also on the slate of training.
